Projects in Germany
Since the winter in 1999 Dutch Dredging has dredged the Elbe and different ports in Hamburg. The work contained dredging and dumping sediment to a depth of up to 16,8 meters. The sediment is mainly silt and sand, mixed with gravel and clay. The dredged material was transported and dumped in the dumping site. A total volume of roughly 2.000.000 m3 is dredged annually. Our plough Alcyon levelled the soil and dredged the hard to reach spots and corners.
